Introduction to ingredients for a simple and everyday flatbread
Main Ingredients:
Flour(Two bowls) Water (One bowl)
Auxiliary Materials:
Salt (4g) Oil (Appropriate amount)
Steps for making a simple and everyday flatbread:
1. Place the flour in a bowl, add an appropriate amount of warm water, mix to form a dough.

2. Put the well-kneaded dough back into the bowl and let it rise for more than 30 minutes.

3. Take out the risen dough from the bowl, knead on the countertop until smooth!

4. Take half of the dough, flatten it into a circular flatbread. The thinner, the better. Sprinkle 2g of salt evenly on the flatbread and press with an rolling pin, then brush an appropriate amount of oil all over. Follow the same method for the other half.

5. Roll up the flatbread from top to bottom, stretch both ends while rolling. Cut in the middle to divide into two parts. Four small rolls are now obtained by cutting the two parts.

6. Pinch both ends of a roll tightly with your hands, twist them in opposite directions, then push towards each other with both hands, ensuring one end is on top and the other at the bottom.(It's hard to take photos for this part) Place the dough ball on the countertop and make four in total.

7. Roll out each dough ball into a circle.

8. Heat oil in a pan, when the surface is fully heated, add an uncooked dough ball.

9. When the edges turn color and the flatbread starts to puff up, flip it over.

10. While cooking, gently tap the surface of the flatbread with a spatula. When the surface puffs up again, flip it over once more for further cooking.

11. Repeat step 10 until the flatbread is fully cooked and remove from heat.

12. Cook four flatbreads in succession and serve them on a plate.

1Tips:
1 Use warm water to knead the dough, allow it to rise for a longer time.2 Always stretch both ends while rolling up to make thinner and crispier flatbreads.3 Use a non-stick pan on low heat when cooking.
