How to make stewed beef brisket with broad beans:
1. Wash the beef brisket and cut it into 5 cm long, 1 cm wide and thick strips. Blanch in cold water, remove and drain. Cut the broad beans into halves, chop the scallions.
2. Heat some plant oil until five-tenths hot, add star anise, cinnamon, Szechuan pepper, and dried chili peppers to stir-fry until fragrant, then add beef brisket and stir-fry evenly, pour in clear broth, add sodium chloride, MSG, and cook over high heat.Boil until foam rises, remove the foam, transfer to a pressure cooker and press for 15 minutes until the beef brisket is tender.
