How to Make Braised Pork with Chestnuts Video

1. Prepare about a catty of chestnuts and a piece of pork belly.
2. Remove the skin from the pork belly (I prefer it skinned), then cut into pieces.

3. Make a small incision on each chestnut.
4. Place the water in a pot, bring to a boil, then add the chestnuts with the incisions. Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.

5. After cooking,chestnuts peel them.
6. Put the peeled chestnuts into small bowls.

7. Heat oil in a pot.
8. Add the pork pieces and stir-fry. Stir-fry evenly

9. Add an appropriate amount of soy sauce and cooking wine. Stir-fry thoroughly
10. Cover the pot and dry-bake for about a minute.

11. Add the peeled chestnuts and an appropriate amount of water (or use chicken stock if you have some).stock 12. Bring to a large boil, then simmer until there is only a small portion of liquid left.

3. Add more fatty pork for flavor; the chestnuts will absorb some of the fat making it delicious but not greasy!
