During the Chinese New Year, people usually eat dumplings. Why is the Chinese dumpling called a Dumpling in English? It's because Chinese dumplings are similar to food called Dumplings in American Southern cuisine; thus, they are also called Dumplings. What do American Dumplings look like?
To make Chicken and Dumplings, you need

4-5 chicken thighs with bones
4-5chicken wings
2 small onions
2-3 celery sticks radishes
one celery stalks
6 cups chicken broth as a base
1/4 cup sherry, Shaoxing wine or apple juice 1/4 cup parsley (can be substituted with coriander)
and 2 tablespoons soybean oil Makes the dumplings:)
2 cups
mild flour

4 big spoons of butter 3/4 cup buttermilk (can be replaced with
milk and yogurt in a 1:1 ratio.Milk too much will be too thin.
Yogurt too much will be too thick)1 egg white 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt and half a teaspoon baking sodaFirst, cut the carrots, onions and celery into small pieces. Then season the chicken thighs and wings with salt and pepper.
In a large pot, heat up some oil on medium-high heat.
Place the chicken thighs in the pot with the skin side down.
Fry until the skin starts to become crispy.
This will take about 5-7 minutes.
Flip them over and fry for another minute or so.Set aside the cooked chicken. Drain out around 80% of the oil from the pot.
