How to Make Shrimp and Grits Video

There is a common grain in the American South called grits. It is somewhat similar to Chinese corn meal. Grits are used in many Southern dishes, with Shrimp & Grits being one of the most famous.
To make Shrimp & Grits, you need a lot of ingredients:including 450 grams of shrimp. 30 grams of

sausage
(it is recommended to use andouille sausage)one yellow or white onion. two stalks of celery,
half a green pepper,half a red pepper, four scallions,
a cup and a half of grits (coarse cornmeal),six cups of vegetable broth,
a can of diced tomatoes,four cloves of minced garlic,
a cup of white wine,and three tablespoons of olive oil.
Seasonings include:
half a teaspoon of cumin (coriander seed),half a teaspoon of coriander (cilantro),)
half a teaspoon of chili powder, a teaspoon of salt,
honey half a teaspoon of pepper,
and two tablespoons of oregano (oregano).
First, chop the onion, celery, green and red peppers, and scallions.Remove the shells and shrimp line from the shrimp. Then cut the sausage into small pieces.
In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until it is done, saving the oil.Turn the heat to medium-high,
add olive oil,

and cook the shrimp on all sides for 1-2 minutes.
Set aside.
Return the heat to medium.Cook the onions and celery for 3-5 minutes until softened. Add the garlic and
wine,
reduce by half.Add the broth, tomatoes, green and red peppers, scallions, and all seasonings except oregano.
Bring to a boil.
Add the grits, bring back to a boil.



Reduce heat and cook for 20-25 minutes until thickened.

Finally, add the oregano, sausage, and shrimp,

and cook for another 5 minutes.

This is American Shrimp & Grits.

Turn on medium-high heat.

Add olive oil.

Sear the lobster. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.

Set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. Sauté the onion and celery for 3-5 minutes.

Until softened.

Add garlic and wine.

Cook until reduced by half.

Add the broth, tomatoes, bell peppers, green onions, and all spices except the oregano and Italian sausage.

Bring to a boil.

Add grits and bring back to a boil.

Then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes until thickened.

Add the oregano and the Italian sausage, then cook for another 5 minutes.
