3. 3. Rinse the cut winter melon with water.

4. 4. Pour 500ml of water into the pot and bring to a boil over medium fire to cook, add the bacon and bones first, then add two spoons of salt. Add the winter melon and half a spoon of monosodium glutamate, and slowly simmer for 25 minutes.
