Dried squid and turnip soup with pork ribs

Ingredients

  Fresh squid 100g dried

  Radish 1 piece

  Pork ribs 1.5 catties

Raw Ginger 1 small piece

Salt to taste

Steps for making stewed pork ribs with squid and radish

1. Soak the dried squid in water overnight, remove the red film on top, rinse briefly if desired, then cut into strips or chunks;

2. Soak the rib pieces in water for half an hour to one hour to remove blood water;3. Place an appropriate amount of water in a clay pot, add washed and crushed ginger, bring to a boil; 4. Put the ribs into the pot, bring back to a boil, then skim off the foam on the surface, add the squid, continue to cook until the ribs are tender, then reduce heat for slow cooking;

5. Peel and cut the radish into chunks, add them to the pot, simmer until they are cooked and slightly soft, then season with salt.Cooking Tip Soak dried squid in water overnight

Place the spare ribs in the pot, bring to a boil and remove any foam with a spoon.

Add the squid, bring back to a boil, then reduce heat and slowly simmer until the ribs are fairly tender.
