Sea Cucumber Preserved Pig Kidney Soup

- Steps for making Dried Seaweed and Mussel Braised Pork

1. Soak the dried seaweed in pure water, place it in the refrigerator to soak for more than 12 hours;then clean thoroughly and set aside;

2. Cut ginger slices and lean meat into large pieces;

3. Put the ginger slices and lean meat into cold water, boil briefly then wash with clear water;

4. Rinse the mussels and prepare them for use;

5. Place the mussels, ginger slices, and lean meat in a slow cooker;

6. Add an appropriate amount of boiling water;

7. Add an appropriate amount of hot water around the outside according to the instructions for the slow cooker;

8. Cover well and cook for about 3 hours;

9. After 2.5 hours, add the soaked seaweed;

10. Continue cooking for half an hour, then season with salt before serving.
- Tips

The container used to soak the dried seaweed must be free of oil and greasiness, and it is best to use a zero-degree refrigerator compartment with pure water.
