Delicious Braised Pork Belly

Ingredients
Pork belly350 grams
PotatoesOne and a half medium-sized
Dark soy sauce2 tablespoons
 
1. Cut the pork belly into chunks, marinate with cooking wine,

Sliced ginger,Threaded Sichuan peppercorns, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.2. Heat oil in a wok until about 3/4 hot, add brown sugar and stir-fry until melted and caramelized. 3. Add the pork belly and stir-fry to color it.

4. Add water to cover the meat.

Add scallions, bay leaves, cinnamon,

and star anise, and dark soy sauce, then cook over high heat until boiling.5. Reduce to a small fire and simmer for 40 minutes. Keep adding water to prevent it from drying out.

6. Add the potatoes and continue simmering for another 15 minutes on low heat.7. Cook over high heat to reduce the sauce, then serve.
