Recommendation for Night Dinner Delicacies - Home-style Purple Yam Banana Crispy Recipe

Vaguely remembering, in the very early beginning, I had once made a banana pastry.Banana Crispy. The filling certainly wasn't Sweet potato, this new darling, which lacks the traditional Chinese Dessert with long history. Perhaps it was Dates mud, or perhaps red bean paste, it didn't matter much. This time, I wanted to add sweet potato as the inner part of the banana pastry.
There wasn't actually any banana in the banana pastry; banana was just a symbolic name. Thoughts raced through my mind instantly, and finally, I decided not to stir-fry the sweet potato filling with sugar and oil but to use it in its natural state as sweet potato puree. Even, there was no need to mash it into a paste; simply divide the steamed Sweet potatoes intact by quantity for the filling, knead them into balls, and then wrap them up. What an ingenious idea! However, soon I realized that this idea might be very ingenious but not practical. Even though the sweet potatoes were randomly shaped, they still retained some of their hard texture. As a result, it wasn't easy to stretch them with the dough skin. There was no way to fix it; only patience could slowly shape and arrange the wrapped sweet potato pastries into banana shapes. Fortunately, my subconscious foresight directly shaped the sweet potatoes into long oval forms, making it unnecessary to spend much effort in reshaping the long olives. But, the time saved by not mashing the sweet potatoes was lost here....
Despite all this effort spent on shaping them, the final result after baking was still very satisfactory. There would be a wonderful dish to show off during this Spring Festival, ha!Click for more: Spring Festival New Year's Eve Food Recommendations
