Homemade Pearl Shrimp Tail Balls Recipe


Ingredients:Glutinous rice,Pork belly,Ginger mashed, salt,pepper powder,MSG each to taste, shrimp from Zhuhai region, chestnuts each to taste
Detailed operation steps:
1 Glutinous rice is soaked in water for 5 hours until swollen. After swelling, drain the water and keep ready. Chestnuts are peeled and cut into pea size pieces.

2 Pork belly is cut into thin slices, then into strips, and finally into pea size meat particles. Gently chop these meat particles but do not make them too fine. Place in a bowl and keep ready. Add mashed ginger, chopped scallions, salt, pepper powder, MSG, mix well with hands, then stir-fry to add strength. Add chestnuts and mix again, stir-fry to add strength once more. Finally, add an appropriate amount of cornstarch and mix thoroughly, stirring until firm. Shrimp from Zhuhai region is removed of heads, shelled, shrimp lines removed, salted appropriately, mixed well and marinated for 5 minutes.

3 Take an appropriate amount of meat particles to form a ball, make a hollow in the center, place a shrimp inside, wrap it back up into a round ball, then coat with glutinous rice.Place on a steamer tray covered with Chinese cabbage leaves. Steam over a boiling steam pot, turn off the heat to prevent scalding before covering and steaming for 25 minutes. After steaming is complete, turn off the heat and remove from the steamer, serve in a plate, deliciousness achieved. Turn off the steam and remove from the steamer into a plate; it is ready to serve.
