Home-style Baked Boston Lobster with Cheese Recipe

Christmas delicacies have a long history in Western traditions, such as turkeys,gingercakes,()eggs,pastries, and smoked,ham. Salmon are also well-known must-have dishes. Which one do you prefer? Whatever the food is, as long as it is made with sincere love for your family and care,
it will become particularly delicious and precious. When the whole family gathers around the dinner table to share the delicacies you've prepared by hand,
the seemingly simple yet incredibly warm atmosphere surpasses the taste of the food itself.For Christmas Eve, why not prepare a seafood feast — grilled Boston lobster with cheese.
Ingredients Main ingredients: 1000g live Boston lobster, 150g mozzarella cheese shreds,milk cream 100g,butter 20g, salt to taste, Italian herb seasoning, white grape wine 15ml.
Steps

. Hold the lobster firmly and insert a chopstick into the small hole at the tail end of the lobster until its head. Be careful as the lobster may struggle; after pulling out the chopstick, release some water.

. Gently twist to separate the head from the body and open up the thick shell on the head side.

. Remove the white gills on both sides of the head and discard the lobster brain (use it for another dish) and the stomach sac.

. Carefully remove the meat from the inner side of the lobster, retaining the hard back shell.. Cut the lobster meat into small pieces. Place the head shells and shell segments in boiling water until they turn red, then drain and set aside.

. In a pan, melt butter over low heat;. Add minced garlic and stir-fry to release fragrance; add the lobster meat, season with salt, stir briefly, then add wine and milk cream. Cook until slightly thickened.

. Transfer the cooked lobster meat into the empty shell of the lobster using a spoon.

. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

. Place the lobster in a baking dish,oven at 180 degrees for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts, then remove from oven.
. Tip
. If no oven is available, steps 11 can also be heated in a microwave until the cheese melts;microwave.
. If there's no white wine or cognac wine, use rice wine as a substitute;
. After step 7, any remaining cream sauce can be poured over pasta and vegetables as a dressing.. To store live lobster if not consuming immediately, wrap it tightly with a damp cloth and refrigerate at 5-8 degrees Celsius for a few days.. The meat from the body of the lobster used here, along with the head and claw meat, can be saved for future use; we will introduce their preparation methods in another opportunity.
After purchasing a large lobster, if you do not plan to eat it immediately, it is suggested to wrap it tightly with a damp towel and store it in the refrigerator at 5~8 degrees Celsius for several days.
This recipe uses the meat from the lobster's body; the lobster brain and meat from the claws can be saved for other dishes, which we will introduce in a future post.
