Homestyle Seafood Dried Mushroom Porridge Recipe

Yesterday, I saw a quick cooking method for porridge on some software. So today, I decided to try it out and indeed saved quite a bit of time. The ingredients:
Main ingredients: Rice 100g, Mushroom 3 pieces, Shrimp roe as needed,Soybean oil as needed, Salt as needed,
Scallions as needed,

Ginger as needed.

Rice should be washed in advance and frozen overnight.

Mushrooms should be sliced, ginger chopped into small pieces.

Boil the water first, then add the frozen rice.

After it comes to a boil again, add one spoon of soybean oil because the rice has been frozen and is already partially cooked now.

Add mushroom slices and ginger pieces, then switch to low heat for slow cooking. When the porridge thickens, add cleaned shrimp roe and continue cooking for another three minutes.

(The shrimp roe should be soaked in cooking wine to reduce its fishy smell, but I skipped this step as I forgot.)

While waiting, wash and cut the scallions into fine pieces.

Turn off the heat and add the scallion pieces and salt for seasoning.
Enjoy it now.
Freezing rice can reduce cooking time when making porridge.
Cleaning shrimp roe and soaking in cooking wine can remove some of its fishy smell.
Adding a little oil while cooking can improve the texture of the porridge.
