Home-style Steamed Spare Ribs with Green Beans


Mom has created a new dish! Fresh and tender green peas, could actually be paired with tough spareribs. Initially, I thought it wouldn't work out well; the green peas would surely turn into a paste. But after tasting it, I found this method was excellent. Mushy green peas and spareribs combined offer a rich texture, soft and smooth. A large pot served on the table was instantly finished by everyone. You have to try it!
Ingredients Main ingredients: two spare ribs, salt to taste, one cup of green peas
Steps

1. Cut the spareribs into small pieces and blanch them, removing the foam after.

Add the green peas into the pot.

Cover with a lid, let it come to a boil again, then simmer for ten minutes.

Release the steam before opening the lid, add salt and stir until dissolved.
Tips
Blanching the spareribs first ensures clear broth without any odd smell.Clear broth from blanched spareribs.
