Homemade Soy Braised Spare Ribs with Radicchio Recipe


The last piece of large spare rib bought.Each time making soup, I pick the lean parts first to eat, leaving this somewhat fatty part at last. I will clear stew it instead, but since I don't like the smell and am afraid of its fishy taste, I will use soy sauce for stewing.Because the meat is quite fatty, there's no need to stir-fry with oil. Just put it in the electric rice cooker. Stew using water, add the ribs, salt, sugar, green onions, and garlic. Add soy sauce and cooking wine, then stew until the ribs are soft and tender.After the meat is cooked, add two washed and chopped oil radish plants. Cook for a few more minutes and it's ready. TIP: Boil the ribs first to remove any fishy smell before stewing.

Boil for a few minutes to complete.

Tip: Blanch the ribs to remove the gamey smell before stewing.
