Homemade Shanzha Yam Cake Recipe

The entire process was filled with uncertainty. Like the glutinous rice cake,with its layer upon layer of , but a different mold would be needed, and the size is slightly too large, being conical in shape which makes it appear too substantial. But, it seems no suitable mold can be found. As a last resort, one could alternate layers of yam chunks with rhubarb cake,
cut into pieces or using a cutting mold. The mind was leaning towards the latter option, but the yam paste had already been completed in hand. Looking at that large lump of yam paste, a new idea sprang up immediately. Dividing the yam paste in half and layering it with rhubarb cake between two halves of the mold proved to be very useful.
Sure enough, not too much or too little, perfectly filling one container. The rectangular yam cake was cut into small rectangular pieces...
The initial vision remains vague, but it will certainly not turn out this way...


Ingredients:Rhubarb 250 grams, Red Tangerine Cake 50 grams, Sugar 25 grams

Steps:
1. Wash and cut the yam into segments, then place them in boiling water.Steam for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from heat. Peel off the skin. Grind it into a paste and mix with Sugar until a thick, sticky.

2. Take half of the mixture and press it into a mold lined with cling film. Lay a layer of rhubarb cake on top, then spread the remaining yam paste over the surface and press down firmly to level it out. Remove from the mold. Discard the cling film, then cut into equal-sized pieces.Arrange these on a dish, garnished with Goji Berries
