Home-style Braised Stripper Fish

The flesh of the peel-off fish is abundant and there are few bones, making it suitable for children and seniors. Cooked with red-braising, the taste is really great; even my little Bao, who doesn't usually like fish, enjoys it. This gives me a lot of satisfaction!
Ingredients Main Ingredients
450g peel-off fish, 2 green onions,an appropriate amount of light soy sauce, an appropriate amount of cornstarch, an appropriate amount of ginger, an appropriate amount, an appropriate amount of oil, and chicken powder.
Steps

. Clean the fish thoroughly, prepare the green onions and ginger.

. Cut the fish into smaller pieces.

. Heat the pot and add some oil; stir-fry the ginger until fragrant.

. Fry both sides until golden brown, then add the green onions.

. Pour in a sauce made with light soy sauce, chicken powder, and water, and braise for five minutes.

. Reduce the sauce to desired consistency.
Tip: When frying peel-off fish, use low heat; flip only after one side is done, allowing it to cool slightly before flipping the other side. Frying the whole fish would be better as it's less likely to break.
