Home-style Kimchi Onion Carrot Fried Rice Cake Recipe


Because a jar of Korean kimchi was bought,it needs to be used with thought. I think pairing it with Korean new year's cake would be great. As a result, I bought another package of Korean new year's cake! Additional side dishes can be chosen according to personal taste. The preparation is more complex than that of Chinese cuisine, but the outcome is very satisfying and delicious.
Ingredients Main ingredients
1000g Korean rice cakes,olive oil appropriate amount, salt appropriate amount, green mung bean sprouts appropriate amount, Korean kimchi appropriate amount,onion 1 piece, red radish 2 pieces, scallions a little bit, self-made chili sauce appropriate amount
Steps

1. Ingredients: Korean rice cakes,mung beans sprouts, sliced red radish,sliced onions, Korean kimchi, scallions, self-made chili sauce.

2. According to the instructions, take out the Korean rice cakes from the refrigerator and soak them in cold water for ten minutes, then drain the water.

3. Heat a pan and add appropriate amount of olive oil, then add onions.

4. Add sliced red radish.

5. Slightly stir-fry with green mung bean sprouts.

6. Season with a little salt and stir evenly, then remove from heat.

7. In another pan, add appropriate amount of olive oil, then add Korean rice cakes.

8. Pour in an appropriate amount of water, cover the pot to simmer.

9. When most of the water has evaporated, uncover the pot and season with salt while gently stirring.

10. Add Korean kimchi.

11. Pour in self-made chili sauce.

12. Slowly stir evenly.

13. Add stir-fried onions, red radish, and green mung bean sprouts.

14. Add scallions and stir evenly before serving.
Tips
1. This type of Korean rice cake does not require boiling in hot water; just soak it in cold water after thawing, making it convenient.
2. The chili sauce is adjusted according to personal preference; I used a garlic-flavored chili sauce mixed with an appropriate amount of tomato sauce for the best results.Chili peppers are paired with an appropriate amount of tomato sauce for particularly good results.
