Steps for making Hakka Clear Stewed Chicken:
1. Prepare an appropriate amount of homestream chicken (determined by the number of people, I used enough for 1-2 people)

2. Prepare coix seed, red dates, and longan.

3. Rinse goji berries separately.

4. Put longan, red dates, and coix seed into the stew pot first.

5. Then add chicken and ginger, and enough water.

6. Put them in the slow cooker to simmer for one hour.

7. When done, add the washed goji berries.

8. Serve. Those who like sweetness can add some sugar, which is also very delicious. For those not so sweet, it's suggested to not add anything and enjoy the clear soup and meat in its original flavor, especially fresh and aromatic.

Tips:
Goji berries should be added only after they are well cooked; otherwise, prolonged high heat will destroy their nutritional components. Chicken is a warm-nourishing food, combined with water dates, longan, goji berries, etc., this soup tends to be more warming. It's best to drink it in the morning or noon when yang energy rises, as drinking some warming nourishing soup can help boost yang energy. After midday, yang energy gradually decreases; at that time, it's better to drink cooling soups. Drinking big nourishing soups after that might cause heatiness.
