Home-style Jin Nang Rou Si Recipe

As a veteran foodie, I spend my idle time at home researching various dishes.Today, I am going to introduce the delicious and refreshing jingju meat slices. Thinking of this dish inevitably brings back memories of pan-fried pancake.Or perhaps it is tofu skin wrapped with vegetables. This Jingju meat slice is a must-have in every meal.Ingredients: tenderloin (preferably), tofu skin, cucumber, yellow bean sauce, scallions, cilantro, bitter lettuce, and peanut oil. Apples, rice vinegar, cornstarch are also needed.

  Method: see the image for detailed steps. Cut meat into thin strips and chop small scallions.Marinate meat strips with apple vinegar (I used homemade apple vinegar), a little cornstarch, for 10 minutes. After this treatment, the meat slices will come out tender, smooth, and fragrant when stir-fried.Cut tofu skin into square shapes and wash them several times in boiling water. Heat some peanut oil in a pan, sauté chopped scallions until fragrant, then add meat strips. Add an appropriate amount of water and stir-fry with yellow bean sauce, adding more scallions at the end before removing from heat and plating up.For serving: place bitter lettuce, cucumber, cilantro, and small scallion segments as shown in the diagram.,Yellow beans, sauce, green onions,coriander,,endive lettuce, mung bean sprouts,peanuts, oil,apple,vinegar,,cornstarch,,

Slice the meat into strips, and cut the small onion into small pieces.

Add a small amount of apple vinegar to the meat strips,(I used homemade apple vinegar), cornstarch (a little less than a spoon), mix well and marinate for 10 minutes. After such treatment, the meat strips are cooked tender, smooth, and fragrant. Cut the tofu skin into square shapes and blanch in boiling water for 2-3 times.

  Heat some peanut oil in a hot pan, stir-fry the small onion segments until fragrant, then add the marinated meat strips. Add an appropriate amount of water and yellow bean sauce, and stir-fry. Finally, add small pieces of green onions and stir-fry before serving with endive lettuce on top. Cut cucumbers and coriander into small pieces as shown for garnish.,
