How to Make Mashed Potato and Shrimp Balls

Potato Shrimp Balls' Preparation Steps:
Take one potato, peel it and wash it.

Cut it into thin slices and steam them,until cooked. About 15 minutes. Transfer the steamed potatoes to a deep bowl and mash them into a paste. Add an appropriate amount of salt, monosodium glutamate, and white pepper powder, mix well and set aside.

Remove the shells and heads from the shrimp, leaving the tails. Remove the sand line and wash it, then prepare it for use.

Make a small incision on the back of each shrimp.Push the tail through the incision to form this shape. Do this with every shrimp.

Marinate the shrimps in an appropriate amount of salt, pepper powder, and rice wine for 10 minutes.

Mold the potato paste into a pancake shape.

Wrap each shrimp inside.

Roll it to form a ball.

Do this with every shrimp to make them into shrimp balls.

Beat an egg to separate the yolk and set aside, mix cornstarch in one bowl, bread crumbs in another, prepare for use.Coat each shrimp ball first with cornstarch. Then dip it into the egg liquid.

Finally cover it with bread crumbs.

Do this to every shrimp ball and set them aside for preparation.

Heat enough vegetable oil in a wok, deep-fry at medium heat until golden brown. Drain excess oil before serving.

Beat one egg into egg liquid.

Dip the shrimp balls in starch first.

Serve immediately after frying.

Tip:

Steam the potatoes longer for better texture! Fatty foods should be eaten in moderation, try to finish them all at once. Fry until fully cooked!
