How to Make Amber Walnuts


Ingredients Introduction
Core Walnuts 300 grams of walnut meat, 400 milliliters of water, 150 grams of fine sugar, and oil for frying.
Steps to make amber-colored walnuts:

1. Prepare the ingredients, remove the shells from the walnuts and set aside.

2. Place the walnut meat in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, boil until boiling, then turn off the heat.

3. Remove the walnut meat with a sieve or spoon to drain the water, then set it aside.

4. Put the cooked walnut meat, 150 grams of fine sugar, and 400 milliliters of water into a pot together, simmer over low heat while stirring continuously for about 15-20 minutes.

5. Cook until the syrup thickens, turn off the heat, let it sit for 15 minutes to better absorb the flavor.

6. Heat oil in a wok or pan over high heat, when the oil temperature is above 120 degrees Celsius, add the sugar-coated walnuts and fry until golden yellow, then remove them from the pot.

7. Cool down and store in an airtight container, consume within one month.
