Steps to make Phoenix Ascending on a Pagoda creative fruit platter:

1. Cut the dragonfruit skin off and slice it, use leaf-shaped molds to cut out three pieces for the tail.(Do not discard the dragonfruit skin and apple skin; they will be used to make wings later)

2. Carve several "V"-shaped strips on the flower slices.

3. Arrange in a semicircular pattern on a plate.

4. Use a small knife to carve the dragonfruit into almost an "L" shape, trimming the top to make a sharp beak for the phoenix's head. Cut apple slices and use scissors to cut several strips to make wings.

5. Place some leftover fruit pieces at the body connection area to make it fuller.

6. Use small apple slices to stick on as eyes. Cut dragonfruit skin into an almost triangular shape and attach to the head.(The dragonfruit skin has adhesive properties, cut the bottom flat for easier attachment.)）

7. Carve three smaller flower slices from apples.

8. Arrange apple slices in the second layer of the tail section, then place smaller dragonfruit flower pieces in the third layer, followed by smallest apple slices. Use a large straw to carve small dragonfruit pieces and arrange them on top.(Total five layers)

9. Place "V"-shaped strips at the connection areas.

10. Cut dragonfruit skin into pieces and place them on both sides, then add cut apple skin above as wings.
