How to Make Pan-Fried Tofu

A super simple dish Tofu, a meal my grandma used to make for me every time I went home, with simple seasoning and simple flavors that bring a sense of home.

Ingredients Introduction
Soft tofu(one piece), chopped Chopped chili pepper(1 tablespoon),Cornstarch(1 teaspoon), Dark soy sauce Light soy sauce, salt Fried Soft Tofu #Fresh and Simple Home Cooking
Home-style dish #Steps 1. Cut the tofu into pieces and soak them in brine; this makes it easier to fry.

2. Heat some oil in a pan, add the tofu piece by piece, frying slowly until both sides turn golden brown; my oil was slightly dark after frying fish earlier, hehe.

3. Once the tofu is well-fried on both sides, remove from heat and set aside.

4. Discard half of the fried tofu oil, leaving a little for cooking the chili pepper.

5. Use homemade chopped chili pepper, which includes garlic; therefore, no need to add garlic again. Without homemade chili pepper, use ordinary chili peppers and finely chopped garlic if desired.Chopped chili pepper

6. Fry the chili pepper until fragrant, then add two tablespoons of dark soy sauce and a few drops of light soy sauce. Add half a bowl of water and half a teaspoon of salt; bring to a boil.

7. Place the tofu in the pan, cover with a lid, and simmer until most of the liquid has reduced.

8. Mix cornstarch with a little water, pour it into the pot while stirring gently, continue cooking until the sauce thickens.

9. Remove the tofu from the pan and arrange it neatly; pour the sauce over the tofu to finish.

10. Make an attractive presentation!

Shape it up!
