How to Make Spicy Chicken Blocks

Spicy Chicken Cube, a super delicious dish in our area, mildly spicy and fragrantly salty, a favorite for meat lovers.

Ingredients Introduction
Chicken thighs(2 pounds),Tspoon of Sichuan pepper,(a little), Dried red chili (a little), Doubanjiang sauce (two spoons),(five spoons), Shaoxing wine (a little),Light soy sauce (a little), Chinese kale (three pieces), Scallions Ginger Steps to make Spicy Chicken Cube 1. Cut the chicken thighs into small pieces for easier flavor absorption, wash them with water, add a bit of Shaoxing wine, and marinate for about one to two hours. 2. Sauté the Sichuan pepper, dried red chili, scallions, ginger in the wok until fragrant, then add Doubanjiang sauce and stir-fry until red oil appears, followed by sugar, continue stirring for a while before adding the chicken pieces; no need to add water as the chicken will release its own oils and juices. 3. When nearly done, add the Chinese kale, stir-fry until fragrant, then serve immediately.

Tips

Chop the Doubanjiang before adding it into the wok; this is a tip from my dad that enhances the flavor. Also, since Doubanjiang is already salty, do not use too much salt. Adding more sugar can improve the taste.soy sauce a little bit

3. Feeling close to done, add Chinese mustard greens and stir-fry with the Sichuan-style chicken pieces until fragrant; serve the crispy and spicy chicken blocks out of the pan
tips
Before adding the Doubanjiang (Sichuan fermented broad bean and chili paste) to the pot, chop it finely, as my father taught me. This enhances the taste. Also, note that Doubanjiang is salty, so do not add too much; additionally, add more sugar
