Homemade Crispy Potstickers Recipe


Potstickers are very much favored by my little girl.They are a type of noodle dish. Compared to boiled dumplings, they are richer in flavor and crispier.Dumplings are much more delicious. Actually, potstickers are just open-top dumplings pan-fried until crispy, making them even more fragrant than steamed dumplings.Electric pancake
pan is used instead of a traditional frying pan to save time and effort while ensuring the finished product tastes better. Ingredients Main ingredients: 300g flour, 160ml warm water, 200g meat filling,400g cabbage, 10ml peanut oil, 5g salt,5ml soy sauce, 5ml rice wine, 5ml sesame oil, 5g green onion,5g ginger. Steps 1. Gradually add warm water to the flour while stirring with a chopstick until a smooth dough is formed; cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes. 5g
2. Knead the dough again, roll it into a strip, and cut it into small pieces (dough balls).

3. Mix salt, rice wine, and soy sauce with the meat filling until well combined; add 2 tablespoons of water and marinate for a while.

4. Add peanut oil and sesame oil to the mixture.

5. Chop the cabbage into small pieces.

6. Mix the chopped cabbage into the meat filling, then stir to combine thoroughly forming the potstickers' filling.

7. Take a dough ball and flatten it slightly to form a round wrapper.

8. Place some of the mixture in the center, fold over the edges to seal, and shape into a half-moon shape.

9. Sprinkle a little oil on the electric pancake pan, place the potstickers inside.

10. Turn on the power and select the potsticker function.

11. After preheating, pour in some batter (mix 1 teaspoon of flour with half a bowl of water).

12. When the program is complete, flip over to serve; golden and crispy potstickers are ready.

Tips

1. When mixing the meat filling, season it with salt first before adding the cabbage to prevent the cabbage from releasing excess liquid during wrapping.
2. The amount of batter should cover about one-third of the height of the potstickers; mix 1 teaspoon of flour with half a bowl of water to make the batter.
3. This recipe uses Midea electric pancake pan's potsticker function, resulting in golden and deliciously crisp potstickers.
The amount of flour water should be about 1/3 the height of the potstickers, with 1 teaspoon of flour in half a bowl of water.
Here, we used the pancake function of the Midea electric griddle, resulting in golden-brown and crispy potstickers.
