Homemade Steamed Taro Cake with Scallion Aroma


Ingredients:Taro 150 grams,Rice flour 65 grams, cornstarch 10 grams,Corn Olive oil 15 milliliters, boiling water 150 milliliters, salt 1/2 teaspoon, sugar 1/2 teaspoon,White pepper Powder 1/4 teaspoon, chopped green onions

Mixed rice flour and cornstarch, then sifted, added with Black pepper, salt, and sugar, mixed evenly. Added oil and mixed evenly. Stirred while slowly adding boiling water. Mixed into a smooth paste. Added chopped green onions, mixed evenly. Washed taro, peeled, cut into strips. Dove into Rice flour mixture. Mixed evenly.


Poured into an oiled mold and leveled. Cooked in a steamer with boiling water, using high heat steamed for 20-30 minutes. Cooked through, removed from the steamer. Let cool before cutting into pieces.

Soft and chewy to taste.
