Homemade Steamed Potato Pancakes with Minced Meat Sauce

Small potatoes, still incredibly creamy. Make them into potato cakes, perhaps they would be much better? Grind, mix with liquid, fry - simple yet straightforward. Eat while hot; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, really delicious....


Ingredients: 150 grams cooked taro, 35 grams minced meat, 15 grams rehydrated mushrooms, 1 teaspoon dried shrimp, 1 stalk green onion,45 milliliters flour, 25 milliliters starch, 50 milliliters milk, salt to taste, a little five-spice powder, oil as needed Rinse the dried shrimp and soak in water. Chop the mushrooms and green onion finely, set aside.

Steam the taro until soft, then mash into a pulp. Heat oil in a pan. Add the minced meat, chopped mushrooms, and dried shrimp, stir-fry until fragrant.Season with salt and five-spice powder, add green onion, stir a few times, then remove from heat. Set aside. Mix flour and starch together, sift them, then add milk. Stir to form a smooth batter. Add the taro paste. Stir until well combined.

Add the cooked meat mixture. Stir evenly. Heat oil in a pan. Place an appropriate amount of taro batter, shape into a pancake. Cover and fry on medium-low heat for 2-5 minutes. Flip and fry the other side.

Fry until both sides are golden brown, then remove from pan. Eat while hot; delicious. Cover with a lid and simmer over medium-low heat for 2-5 minutes. Turn the pieces over and fry the other side. Both sides should be golden brown, then remove from the pan. Eat while hot.
